A Delaware run followed by a Philly run on a Saturday is very doable on paper. On elogs it isn’t due to traffic.

I was really young when they first came in, lol, so I only know what's been told to me. But yeah, that seems like it was the case. But really, if a guy is popping pills and running LA to New Jersey in two and a half days in one sitting, that certainly isn't safe. However, not letting someone decide when they are tired and need sleep isn't right either.

You know, I know the other side growing up with a outlaw steel hauler for a father. I can say that about him, not my self. Them guys were not bad, just making a living. Had this convo the other day. I am old enough to have seen the guys snorting coke, meth, pills to get tuned up to haul heavy. Buddy my age whose dad, and grandpa were into it didn't believe me when I told him Pops wouldn't even drink coffee. It was normal, he was the weird one that did it for a natural high. Put 150k on a six axle and stroll into Cook Co. ILL like he owned it. But was not unsafe about anything. Some guys hated him because it was a natural thing to him. Logbook? What state are were in? This was normal and what I grew up around. I will never ever compair to what some them boys did. I own a truck, I do what I do. I can not compair and never will. Now with all that said, they had less crashes back then with no ELD, and frankly trucks and trailer that were hand assembled.

They are a Richardson model 112. Six panel structured, so I guess that's the same thing you are talking about
