I escape to the study to play games, or hide from the wife.

I've seen guys do it out here in some extreme out of position repair jobs.

Think up inside the boom of a mining excavator.

Put it in your teeth. Grin teasing ya.
My welding is probably garbage to you and your ability. Yet the bubble gum doesnt break. I did go to college to learn appropriate welding techniques.
As I joke with my doctor. In college I could never achieve the swirl with the electrode. Yet now that my left hand has tremors? Welding is a blast!

    Well its bedtime. Night all

They obviously dont have alot of welding experience... They are still able to move quickly, in a somewhat cordinated manner... My body has been bent, twisted, extended, and held in very awkward positions way to many time for way to long to move like that any more... Not to mention the pleasant tingle of welding in a pouring rainstorm while standing or laying in ankle deep water.

Ughhh water. I nailed myself fixing a bucket on a excavator a few years ago. Flew back hit the bench and was half out of it for about two hours.

I nailed a helper once pretty bad... I was tucked up under a tanker trailer in a really bad position with a spool gun for welding aluminum... Had a bad ground connection so I asked him to reposition it... He leaned one hand on the trailer and removed the ground clamp with the other... At about that same time I had a muscle spasm and bumped the trigger... He became the ground and knocked him to the ground... I came out from under the trailer like greased lightning!... He was lying on the ground nearly completely out of it... I thought i had killed him. It took several hours for him to come out of it and he was very sore for a few days. I felt horrible about it.

That's how hot it was in the house. It was frozen like concrete, sat on the counter for 22 minutes while I unloaded the truck, then disentigrated when I unwrapped it lmfao.

All I remember is thinking I stuck the rod when I started the weld. A guy I work with said I got right back up and was super timid and quiet (which isn't me at all lol) and said I think I'm done welding today and then just wandered around the shop for a minute until they took me into the office and sat me down because they were afraid I would fall and hurt myself even more. I don't remember a #### thing other than sticking the rod then sitting in the office with joint aches like the flu and my mouth tasted like it was full of dirty pennies.
