Folks, a question.
Are there any major LTL carriers that handle both reefer and dry?
I am only aware of LTL Reefer companies that do reefer only, but am curious to see if anybody does both. Thx.

YRC Inc. is an LTL co. and we have a reefer division called Reimer express that has reefers. Reimer is mainly for our Canadian freight but we have the ability to utilize their wagons if we need a reefer
-
In other words YRC isnt what he asked for.

I can remember in the late 70's when i started driving, Pulley Freight Lines was a Day cab-reefer LTL carrier that i saw frequently around Iowa and illinois. Since then, i dont know of a dedicted LTL reefer carrier.

FFE is a dedicated ltl carrier but they have a dry van division but it isnt ltl
-
I will add that in the month I have been here I have had one LTL load, a few truck load refrigerated loads and dry loads on a reefer, and one American Eagle dry load. Sometimes I'm not sure which company I agreed to drive for. As long as they get me moving, who cares?
-
Now, come on Biscuit. You know you drive for Conwell if you work for FFE/Am Eagle/Lisa. Yeaaaaahh........
-
FST in Columbus Ohio does both. They do full t/l and also do s/o's as well as broker freight in the USA and Canada

They're running Wal-Mart accounts here in the states now. And it's plainly YRC trucks pulling the trailers. Of course, the guys I spoke with in the truckstop weren't pleased to find out they were no longer considered "special", and Wal-Mart is treating them like any other carrier.
Wait your turn.
Yes it is...see above. -
YRC won't be here much longer anyway. With the debt they have if they make it til the end of the year they will be lucky.
