Not the most technical question in the world but here it goes... I drive an '07 KW T600. The outside temp sensor mounted under the driver side mirror does not read at all in the cab. It used to read triple digits at all times but now it just reads " --- " on the display in the cab. I'm looking for any help in fixing this minor inconvenience.

It is made by a company called tel-tek outta sparks neveda (google them)
They have a lifetime gaurantee on those gauges. Call them up, tell them the deal, they'll tell ya to send it in, and you should have a new one in about a week.
I had mine go bad on my T800 last year. I would be in Miami in the summer, and they gauge always read "ice"....LOL -
BTW, it was my indash gauge itself that was the problem, not the wire or probe.

I have a 02 Pete that had this problem. It was caused by the wire that runs from the sensor outside to the display being pinched and shorted, in the door. It would read fine when the door was open, if the door was shut it would give incorrect temps or ---. Check where the wires routed from the body to the door it might be pinched or shorted.
