Glad to see they seemed to have turned things around. I see a lot more of their trucks out on the road lately. Another carrier going belly up doesn't do anybody any good.

I just wanted everyone who kept on telling me to jump ship see that we really so far have made progress in righting our ship and we are, so far, not an Arrow trucking like everybody was telling me we were. Yes, we got into a mess with mismanagement at the top a few years ago, but, it was recognized, acknowledged, and has been and is being dealt with. So far so good for myself and a lot of other drivers who have hung in there. :)

All I’ll say is I used to see a couple dozen celadon trucks a day. About as frequently as you’d see swift or Schneider. Now I go weeks without seeing one. And I go through Indianapolis every week. I’d avoid the company despite anything anyone would say.

Maybe they’ll pull through just fine. Personally I wouldn’t take the chance.

Why? I’ve been here for almost 10 years now as a driver..... still making good $$, still being treated with respect: that says a lot to me. Look at the news: many trucking companies are struggling right now; how do you know any other would be in any better position? At least we can keep an eye on things because we are aware of what we are going through as a company and not get blindsided. Celadon has been open and honest about the whole situation for the last 3 years as they discovered these problems.

What’s there to apologize for? Stating a fact that I haven’t seen a celadon truck in weeks despite going through their home area weekly?

How many companies truly bounce back after these kinds of troubles? Only one I can think of is maybe YRC. If some one asked me for advice on which employer to pick out of dozens or hundreds hiring I wouldn’t suggest the one that’s been having massive financial issues.

It’s great it’s been working out for you but I hope you have a back up plan Incase SHTF.
