I don't know yet. A man is supposed to be coming for mine Wednesday or Thursday. If he shows up, I may pursue this one. I honestly don't know why I can't leave well enough alone. Therapy might do me some good, but I'm afraid they would commit me.

And i hate to say it but you were on the trans Canada, we call it the flat road. Its the many off shoots that get narrow, twisty, and steep. Its been all I've driven for decades is the steep, narrow, twisty roads, and I find it boring to be on anything else. What i do sometimes laugh at is the tourists who are on narrow roads. They are not used to how the unwritten rules of the road work....whoever is smaller stops and backs up to a wide spot. So a tourist in a car or motorhome loses to a semi truck. A few times a year I usually have to stop, walk up to them, and let them know that if they back up a ways to the wide spot ( me pointing at it) and hug the right side really tight, I can then squeeze by them. A few months ago I met a family who were on vacation, he was too nervous to back up his rental motorhome like that, so asked me if i would. So i climbed in and backed it up to a nice spot, said thanks I'll be out of the way in 2 minutes, i jogged back to my truck and drove by them...they were all waving at me. Many roads say they are 2 lanes, 1 each way...but they mean 2 small cars, and not everyone drives a honda civic. The hill you are talking about is rogers pass, its almost flat compared to the steep stuff, and those corners are not an issue...we are a product of our environment. I always admire truck drivers who drive the prairies, i would crash the truck on day 1...i would fall asleep and drive right off the road. It was a real challenge driving the ice roads up north when I did it, a constant battle to stay awake it was so easy and boring. Windows down 1/3 of the way at -30C to keep from falling asleep. I just cannot do that sort of driving it is brutal on me. I need to always be on the edge of going over a cliff, or spinning out although triples on every set of drive tires...backing up on switch backs to get around them they are so sharp, and looking out the side window with my head right out of the truck because the view out the windshield is purely sky the hill is so steep. I truly do admire people who can just roll along the straight highways and do that lifestyle. I would have to quit my job and go into a different career if I was forced to do that. Throw a foot of snow on top of the road and now its even better, an added layer to the challenge. Been doing it since I was 18, was too stupid to know better then, and once it became my normal life to do so, I just wanted to be the best I could be at it. Just coming back down from the dam yesterday at 213k lbs and keeping it all under control on that road, there is not a second to relax from the moment i put the truck in gear until i hit the valley bottom. Had to stop twice and get vehicles to back up to a spot i could clear them, its just the life i chose, and glad i did. I was so proud of myself for never hitting anything ever in my career, until I spoiled my clean record in 2011 when I hit a couple of deer one night heading home on the hwy...26 years i made it before i hit those deer and had to start over on my next streak of not hitting anything. I'm not fast, i don't run around at 80 mph, I can feel my butt cheeks tighten some days at 8 mph. God I love driving truck here!!!

Anyone who is in Blue River BC ever and finds themselves hungry for a good meal, go to Tony's grill in the Sandman motel...just ate there, and it is very good food. Sandwich with fries and caesar salad fed two of us, no way could I have eaten that on my own.

I don't really have a stance on gun control per se , but why do so many ( certainly not all ) of the " stability challenged " people who should be kept away from firearms own them ?
Not only do they own them but insist that they are making a safer place for others. Which is dangerously over the edge thinking.
There's a new thread about a reporter wanting to ride along with o/o who carry. One of the responses brought about this comment.
