So I show up to Wal Mart in Ochelata, Ok. for my 6:36 am (yup, 6:36) at 6:00 am exactly. 4 trucks in line at the guard shack. I finally get up there and check in. Go to my dock, drop trailer then park the bobtail. It is now 6:28 when I walk in the door. Now these 4 drivers are in line in the building checking in. I have to wait for them. I get to the window finally at 6:46 am, 10 minutes after my appointment time.

The reciever writes "LATE" in bright highlighter on my paperwork. I ask why she did that. She said it's because it's the time you get checked in at the window, not when you get to the facility. I told her I was in there waiting on her at 6:30. She said it's still my fault and that I can get there up to an hour before my appointment time. I told her she needs to speed things up and I would be ontime. She didn't like that.

When I went back in to "sign off" on my bills I signed my name r e a l s l o w l y. She asked me to speed things up and I just said I had to wait for her, she can wait for me. :biggrin_25525:

Ours too and yet we still have to wait for the appointment times. No early drops. *rolls my eyes* I'm convinced it's due to small people with a tiny bit of authority trying to elevate themselves in their own eyes.

The only time that I ever had the pleasure of going to a walmart DC. I got to the one in monroe Ga. on a sunday night with no appt. I was not looking forward to it. My wife says why dont you call and see what can be done. So I did and the person on the phone ask me what did I have on. I told them highlifts and parts, I no more than got the words out of mouth she ask where I was. Told her I could be there in two minutes she said get here. from the time I went through the gate unloaded and back out was 45 minutes. looked at my wife and told dont never take another walmart load. We used all our luck on this on.

I always arrive an hour early to the gate. JUST FOR THAT reason.
You never know how many trucks are ahead of you, till you turn in, and like wise till you walk up to the window.
That person must of been having pms, 10 min to anyone else, is accepteable. Not our fault we get held up at the gate, casues they can only process on truck at a time.

If you look at the WM sign off sheet it always says your bills are ready about 30 min. before you get called in..The last WM I was at they were over the 2 hr window before detention would kick in for me..When presented with it I refused to sign it. They weren't to happy about it but that was NOT my problem. The way I see it if you want me to sign something the times need to be accurate.
