Humidity

You can put more clothes on but you can only take off.......nevermind I just had a visual of a trucker.

 

I was raised in that humidity and just plain didn't know you weren't suppose to be soaking wet from sweat all the time till I moved west, now I will not hardly go back and visit. lol
Back years ago with no air in the trucks, I slept many a night either on or under the trailer.

 

Dont be coming on here this winter complaining whens its -10 and windier than hell and you had to tarp lumber.

you know it's a good night when you shut her down to go to sleep and you wake up and there's a came and look out the windows looks like it's raining but it's not it's just the ice cold air condition truck on top of the humidity...

 

luxury me I came into the industry in 1990 when air conditioning was considered more common even in trucks that were built in the mid-eighties thank goodness..

 

It was humid in GA today. Driving through Waycross it was spitting rain and hardly a cloud in the sky. Thought I had blown a hose until I saw others using their wipers as well. Lol.
Weather radio said it was a heat index of 105. I call BS on the whole heat index thing. Just tell me the temperature and I will decide how hot I feel.

I think you get used to it or something. It doesn't really bother me too much, some days it kinda sucks but overall not too bad. The days I get a truck with no AC I tend to notice it a lil more.
