soulman's does the same thing they smoke their own daily too
all those soulman's has been around since 74 Texas Best has been around since sometime in the late 90s
both made a great name for themselves
and many have locations all around the state of Texas ready are also located in fuel stops.. are within just a quick couple of steps from a fuel stop..
one of my favorite from TB when I go there -
BBQ lady.
Wildwood fl.
Best BBQ ever.
Don't know is she's still behind that chrome shop.
Be years since I been that way. -

Just my own opinion, but it seems to me that when getting BBQ, i prefer a BBQ place that has a line like a cafeteria vs a sit down and order from a server. Just seems like a better plate of meat, and you can get larger helpings of sides. And the price seems a better value.
I have eaten at 10 of the Soulman's locations and the all seem comparable.
Baker's Ribs in Caddo Mills, TX I-30 X87 by the Pilot is another good place. And they have truck parking behind the building. -

The Mikesa brothers have a bunch of places around the state. Each of the brothers Places are a bit different, but over all have about the same menu. A few are in fuel stops or have parking. One is just a 2 minute walk from parking.
