Purty sure that’s the same company that shut down an interstate in Florida so news crews could film their autonomous truck...... annnnnnnnd it managed to go a few hundred feet with nobody in it? It wasn’t that long ago...

I wonder how much driving the driver actually did on that trip..?

 

You guys in this thread are an awesome bunch.
But time for me to take a break from the forum before my head explodes with all the BS and coddling of #######. Not sure if or when I'll be back.

Spellczech looks like it zapped you. Austria is in Continental Europe smack up by Germany.
Australia is it's own separate continent located in the South Pacific Ocean.

Or were you saying that it's an Australian school located in Austria ?

Sounds like you were driving in central West Virginia and south eastern Kentucky....... I can remember backing up to allow a portable parking lot to make the curve and not stop, since he was coming up loaded on route 119 close to Williamson, WV. Roads are a lot better than they were in my earlier years.

Locking the power divider in and 1/2 tracking around curves loaded, was a normal thing pulling a few of the mountains here in winter. Down around Oceana, WV was interesting nearly 30 yrs ago. Moving a Ingersoll Rand TH55 Drill Rig in to location east of Naugatuck, WV I had 2 Dozers hooked to me, one in front, and another up the mountain above with his tracks buried in on the upper side of a big tree. His winch cable went over the top of my Derrick and down to the frame of the drill, his job was to keep me from turning over! It always kept your heart beating, but it’s part of my beginnings. There’s a few of us in this forum that spent time earning our grey beards.....
