@Kstrong86 bro I was assigned to 3rd brigade 4th ID which now is dismantled. If you was there for 8 years who knows we probably bumped into each other. I definitely missed looking at the pikes peak mountains in the morning.

 

Oh yeah CSM dailey, the same CSM who used to run while smoking. when I first arrived at fort carson I was assigned to 64BSB but right away csm vaughn send me to support the infamous 1/8 infantry.

 

@Kstrong86 brother I know you have a dedicated route, if you ever come to Houston let me know and Ill buy ya lunch.

 

I think that's great you guys served in the same unit.

 

If you ever do come to houston, my offer on lunch still stands brother.

 

Fellas how yall looking on this monday. @Matt1924 hope you had survived those vintage videos. let us know how it went on orientation.

 

Man oh man. While not the most enjoyable set of videos, I would like to point out that so far my orientation experience is excellent. After my walk-though of the terminal with some safety-oriented ground rules pounded into my skull I was given a private office with a very comfy desk chair, access to the training portal, and the left alone. Nobody rushed me at all, work at my own pace. As of lunch time today, I’ve completed all the computer stuff I think. Filling out my uniform order form sitting outside and then we’ll see what happens after lunch. So far I’m impressed. So much happening right now, can’t wait to get started with really working.
