There is a guy here local that said he could custom fab the hot side minus the driver side header for about $300+ materials. Materials would be a couple hundred. He said buying an already made driver side was better. What motor is it for?

Lol 3.5 EcoBoost. I've got either a cracked and or warped factory manifold on the drivers side. Stock ones are cheap enough but restrictive as all get out. Aftermarket ones are still cast but thicker and flow 45% more than stock. But they are 700 plus bucks for what's still a cast log manifold.
I'd like to do a thick flanged heavy walled tube manifold that's port matched to the turbo and the heads. -
