Has anyone faced such issue with ELD? Freightliner Cascadia 2017 ABS, traction control and wheel spin lights are on while connected.
Tech support keeps saying that they are working on it but the time is running out.

Sure you got the correct ELD. I hear on satellite radio some guy called in say same thing. The ELD maker said something about taking the information from the truck computers too fast was the problem. He was not a Keep truckin ELD just some could be sampling the buss information to fast and it could be messing up the truck computers a little.

Seems like to me they would all be universal but he claimed some ELD were reading the information to fast. Something about it could be the wrong ELD or it needs an update in software.

Went to Freightliner dealer and installed all available updates. Lights are still on. KeepTruckin support doesn't pick up the phone. Horrible service.

That's funny. I was wondering why my ABS light came on the first time I initiated my Roadlog Solo in my 2012 Cascadia. Fortunately Roadlog answers the phone and responds to emails. I'll ask them

My 2002 Century still does that once or twice a year.
Don't know why, I just cut the truck off for a few minutes and start it back up, dash lights go off and it works again.

A few times, last year, I had to disconnect the ELD, wait a few minutes, hook back up, get green light and it would work again.

When my dash lights came on, the smart shift wouldn't up shift passed 3th gear. Crazy and very frustrating then.

I haven't had any problems with it this year, so far.

I had my Stop engine light and fuel in water light come on and truck died first time using the ELD not five minutes into drive. I pulled over and unplugged the Keep Truckin ELD and it’s worked fine ever since. I’m still intrastate hauling logs so I don’t need it at the moment but I was wondering the same question. If the ELD was causing fault codes. I have a 2014 Freightliner Cascadia 125

Never had it in the 2013, I had heard of computer glitches with different ELDs and different engines. No problems with KeepTrucking in the 2018 I'm driving that I can blame on the unit.

I ended up getting the fault lights again while not using the ELD a couple days ago. I swapped out the fuel filters and fuel water separator filter. Keep my fingers crossed There was quite a bit of particulate build up in the fuel water separator that actually caused some pitting in the metal, so I cleaned it real good and popped the new filter in. Let’s hope this does the trick.
