I work for CTI and change trucks like I change my socks. I have my XM radio connected to a bluetooth transmitter which can connect to the truck.
Would the antenna work through the windshield?
XM antenna on dash?

I use my XM on my phone thru the app. Run the Bluetooth or USB to the deck. No antenna needed.

Dieselboss and gkmissingca Thank this.

Depends on the area of the country you're in. Down south its works more time than not, Up north, it's going to be very intermittent.

I got better satellite reception with my Sirius antenna sitting on the dash than my Chevy or Ford ever got with the factory satellite radio. Never hurts to try. I'm sure it'd work alright.

Mine didn't work too well on the dash mounted on the outside works much better
Dieselboss Thanks this. -
If you are slip seating just use electrical tape to attach the puck to your mirror arm Easy to remove and cheap! Works almost as good as a stick antenna
