The D.M.'s sent out a message by stating not to call in and use the Qualcomm. They probably did that to keep the calls down due to other drivers getting mad over some things, like going to find an empty trailer and there is none to be found. Also, I don't like dealing with those pencil pushers very often via the phone because of their "questionable" knowledge of what some of us drivers have to deal with.

I do have a question for you. How may miles, loaded and empty, are you getting in a 8 day period? I'd be lucky to break 2 thousand when I do run my tail off. Also, I may see about 1/3rd of what you make with a student.

I got bad news for ya bud....that is every single trucking company. Even if you are a O/O then it becomes brokers and unreasonable customers so that's not really gonna get any better anywhere you go no matter who tells you what before you get hired somewhere else.

I was referring to those few who do not have prior driving experience. I do understand that brokers aren't much better.

I should of been more specific, that 2 thousand is loaded miles. Including empty to that, I am getting closer to 2800 miles, I prefer to stay loaded, drop and hook.

That was about what I was getting on average when I worked for them.
