What boat?

 

My wife is considering getting her class a and come teaming with me once our youngest graduates next year. She was gonna go to the vocational school, 10 weeks and $4500. Be nice to not have to spend all that.

In '74 J&F transport was a small fuel hauler out of Regina SK ran 4 long hood Jimmys, 3 short hoods and 1 Titan and 2 Astros. All but the Titan were 318's with rto9513 trans and 4.63 rears, the Titan had a turbo 8v71 (350) RTO12513 with 4.44 rears. The Jimmys were all day cabs and the COE's where all on the Northern fleet, doing 2 day trips to far north communities with fuel. I was running a Freightliner with a 290 RTO9513 and 4.44 rears doing the same thing, northern runs with fuel mostly for the gensets to power the towns.I have seen 2 long nose Jimmys that he sold to farmers around Ponteix SK as late as the mid 90's. Dad was born on the homestead 10 miles south east of there.

 

Been a busy week. Up at 0200-0230 everyday. Saw a picture of last winter on FB and almost cried I missed it so much
