Starting training on 4/23/2009

Can u make that in the van division and were you driving solo? Sounds great i can't wait to start driving all over the place, as in 48 states.

Do you have to have a passport? I read that online. If so, I hope they will hire me and let me make some money, then I will get a passport

 

Looking forward to my start have had good conversations with recuiters fresh out of Driving school out of KCK was a good 6 week course I do have 6 years of driving a 53' van when racing in the 90's. So I start in July at Gary and looking forward to the experience walk 4 miles a day so the heart monitor shouldn't be a problem.

 

I have just gotten a 'firm' offer from Roehl. I am to go to Ellenwood in 7/20 after I get out of driving refresher school. I live in Knoxville and am being told only opening is national van division yet my paperwork says "You may also qulify for other opportunitie, such as, regional or dedicated fleets. You may choose from available oportunties during your orientation or training.'

I also have an offer from Crete I am considering since their new terminal is close to my house and their pay scale is better. Still undecided between the two.

 

Go with Crete. Everything will be better from the dispatchers to the length of hauls to the pay. And at Crete, you will truly run legal, its not some made up BS.

 

Applied to Crete myself, and they denied me bacause a DAC report and they didn't hire from the school I went to and then the school called and they do hire out of there, I ordererd my DAC but haven't recieve but how can I have anyting on it I never drove Professionally and no tickets in the last 15 years and I a guy run into the back of my windstar 6 years ago and totaled it out it wasn,t my fault and get got tickets as well he hit 2 other cars hit me in the rear and then swerved over hit another car head on and the vehicle in front of me Also I have great work history. But I applied to 18 componies and got back 14 prehires 3 refusals and no answer from the last but I didn't call either.
