Thats the one. 4th time its been offered too me. Ive heard good things. Last time i was still mentoring, and i didnt want the paycut. Still wont know if we get the coreslab contract till the 22nd. Either way ill be in the right truck for it, and we have most of my permits in for CMC.

Current plan is coreslab if and when they need them moved, but CMC the rest of the time. I just litrally cant be out on the road as long anymore (medical reasons), so this is a nice compromise.

    Albuquerque terminal.

I went on hold this morning for all the services that are due - A, B and transmission oil are all due at 300k miles.
But since the shop here is closed on the weekend and I didn't want to sit all that time my DM got the hold lifted so I can run through the weekend.

I delivered at 0900 this morning, and at 1700 still no pplan. Since I was here I spoke to the guy at the window, who found me a nice load to IL, about 70 miles from Manteno. It will be ready for pickup sometime tomorrow, but no one knows exactly when.
He also sent a message to the Manteno shop to get my services scheduled.
Very nice guy, Dave is. I'm glad I came in here.

The empty I licked up at home depot looked ok so didn't sweep it out
Then.i thought better of it since shipper wants a food grade trailer so I swept it out.
Glad I did was broken glass up front.

I'm hoping the 90 day bit inspection will fall in that time frame as well. I would hate to need another shop visit a week or two later.

The b service should cover the bit service too. Make sure you mention it when you turn the truck.into shop.

I'll mention it, but the b service is based on miles and the bit inspection is based on time.
The bit is an inspection, not a service.

Commerce City (Denver east) @ the TA. Got here @ 9:45 this morning and got one of the last spots. There has never been more than a couple non-reserved spots open all day. Backing was a real chore thanks to the double row of trucks parked along the fence.

After telling me that I would have to wait til Monday for a load (which I planned on before I got here) the planner sends me a local load along with a "promise" to pay me for doing it. I politely (as I was able) turned it down. Then come a Target trash load that picked up in Pueblo going to Lawton, OK with no appointment time, I turned that one down as well. Every load I've seen on Mac 30 has had 1-2 days too much time on them.

This is the second weekend in a row that the weekend planners have failed me. Why am I not surprised!
