always wipe the toilet seat off before sitting - no matter what.

also my mood is strangely dependent on the quality of poker hands i can spot on my odometer.

I also tug on the trailer every time I'm away from the truck.

Many years ago when I was a kid I left the lights on in a truck that I drove and the next morning the battery was dead.

So I made a habit that everytime I walk away from the truck I look back at it to make sure the lights are not on. Been doing that for decades.

I am terrible about getting out with the lights on, but instead of climbing back in, I just turn the battery switches off, which I do anyway.
Twice I crawled inthe sleeper and left my ligts on. Once I had run all nightfor a 5 in the morning appointment, and by the time I got unloaded and to the truck stop It was bright daylight, so I spaced them. It was weekend so I was going nowhere till monday morning, so when I woke up I went inand ate, then sat inthe lounge for a while, only to notice my lights burning real dim when I came back. lol

Another time I ran all night coming out of Alaska and got to donnas north of seattle I turned off the lights, but I was not in my regular truck and the T800 has chicken lights on a seperate switch, that I left on. dead again. lol

With freightliner and international, I always checked my picket (pocket) 3X before closing the door. Why 3?, dunno seemed to work (mostly)

Gotcha my international unlocks the door when I open it to get out, that gets me in trouble when I ran the pete once in a while.

always leave my trailer brakes on, and back into the trailer just a little, before pulling out. Always look under my tractor trailer as I walk up to them. I dont park on fuel islands so that removes alot of the worries.

    FlaSwampRat and D.Tibbitt Thank this.
