    Doing a regen
    0
Just follow any International LT around. Ours have been in the shop plenty. Yesterday mine was wanting to regen when I got to a stop, but it cut off because of the idle timer (smart idea, stopping a regen like that). The POS Eaton Ultra recall waiting to happen sometimes faults out and won’t move. It won’t release the hill assist feature either.

Yesterday it said I had water in my fuel, so I stopped and checked the Davco. Full of fuel, no water, but I cracked the bleeder open just for fun. Headlights blow like it’s going out of style, random beeping all the time. It really is a PoS.

Man I was still towing when the maxtrurd came out. You mean it's even better? That was a profitable time. Them them 09 macks that were burning shops down because of the exhaust temps at idle would catch the ceilings on fire. Oh the old days.

Just dont ever be one to instantly trust any new tech or information. 60 years ago we were teaching you that your wooden school desk would protect you from a Nuclear bomb and asbestos is your friend.

Zeviander, sawmill, BigBob410 and 11 others Thank this.

    Yea we got a 2018 T680...

All the Kings men and all the Kings horses at Paccar can’t make the check engine light ( one little 12 volt bulb) go off for more than a day. Been working on it since April.

Self driving trucks should be no problem.

whoopNride, 7-UP, Zeviander and 14 others Thank this.

Large neighboring farm runs the latest and greatest equipment Deere has to offer. I forget what the system is called but when the grain cart is alongside the combine "dumping on the go", the guy running the combine takes over control of the cart tractor. He can speed it up, down, move it closer or further away as needed.
To a man everybody that runs that cart hates it. For the simple reason that time to time it likes to make a hard right turn on it's own!
If they can't do better'n this at 5mph in a wide open field...
How are they gonna EVER replace a humans situational awareness on the road?

Trains crash all the time, and they are on tracks!
