We have been a little over 650 feet in the mines with it, had to hook a booster compressor to it in order to blow the cuttings out of the hole. It has a big V6 650 cfm @ 150 psi piston compressor on deck. Holds 6 25 foot drill rods in the carousel on the Derrick.

@BigBob410 drill steel is over 400 lbs per joint, after the first 6 everything is handled by hand to some degree, we’ve walked the edge of a high wall carrying steel and tromped mud for days around it. Use to eat bananas, beenie weenies, and potato chips for a couple days at a time. Take a bath from a open top barrel full of water and keep going...... I have to laugh at some of the tender foots I see today lol.

Nah man ya go to the Beacon when it's raining. Won't be anybody else there so you get a better wash. And since they tend to not rinse 'em off real well, ya got the rain to finish the job. It ain't called the Streakin' Beacon for nothing.
