Went out today and flagged off the spot where we are going to be putting the house so the wife could see where it goes

She disappeared after a while. I figured she was sniffing a truck mattress somewhere but when i left she was panhandling by the get on ramp with her sign.

That mount scares me. all I can think of is the amount of garbage (mud, rocks, ice, etc) that is going to pile up on that thing and restrict the airflow and therefore the cooling capacity.
I would suggest 2 angle brackets on each end and hang it vertically from the same area preferably with a sheet metal "roof" on it and maybe a thermostatically controlled electric fan for long hot pulls.

Somebody made the suggestion already, but a hole saw would be the best option. Make them large enough to get a file on the "top side" of the hole. There will be a burr in there that will hold moisture after you drill them, you'll want/need to file that out.
