I wonder if anybody has ever used a buddipole on a big truck?
Seems like a good deal for 18 bucks.

Soooo I feel stupid... I ordered my skipshooter from CB radio supply and they sent me the antenna inside a 10' section of a 1/2" pvc pipe an it fits fairly well inside of it... Now all I gotta do is find someone to cut the pipe down to about 2-4'.

Go buy a cheap hacksaw and cut it down to size.

I end up getting the pipe cut down to 3ft an I think it looks pretty darn good lol... I'm thinking about spray painting the pipe black. But that's for a later date.... Hey does anyone's bracket kinda wobble a little bit when you open an close your door?? I noticed mine does... I didn't know if it was something to be concerned about.

When i had my ss on,did the same thing..No worrys though...Just so the pipe doesnt get caught by the wind and suddenly go airborn like a missle,i would either shoot a quick blast of expanding foam or pull off pvc and wrapp a few windings of electrical tape around antenna..Add or subtract as you see fit based on how tightly the pvc fits over ant..
In higher winds that ant will sit str8 up,dont panic..

It's funny you say that because I thought about putting a bit of electrical tape around the antenna. Appreciate it bro.
