Medicare is not prepaid if it’s short in its obligations which it is and second even if it was its not the governments responsibility to take anything from anyone to prepay anything.

Fire service is a local thing not a federal and it’s handled different. I vote on fire levies and by that I have say so in it. If your town wants to implement a local healthcare program more power to you just don’t come to me when it’s insolvent.

 

It’s currently receiving its pre delivery inspection at the factory. It’s scheduled to be released to the transport company next week. They will advise me when it’s paired and when it ships. That’s all I know.

Your fire service has more federal, state, funding and regulation than you realize.

 

Who knows? If it’s broke and I’m successful and they implement means testing or the federal government goes broke will I get it? Is it the governments job to take anything from me “for my own good” against my will? Should I be able to opt out?

 

I understand that but it’s still not a federal program ran by some bureaucrat a thousand miles away. Comparing fire and healthcare is a red herring.

 

I do feel you should be able to opt out.
