    I love this handheld diagnostic tool the nexas nl102p . It already save me money. Only problem I'm having is it won't Force Regen have anybody else got it to work that may have it. I have the maxxforce 13

    mine did yesterday when I had to take it to a dealership to get it done but there was a problem with my truck but still it would have saved me money

    Yes mine went straight to red light stop engine. Once I got into the dealership they did a regen on it and I was good. Since my Fpcv was messed up it was causing my problems

    Apparently you must be at a significant operating temp or it will show that error "FUNCTION NOT SUPPORTED". I've seen it, too but I've heard various claims of engine temps between 150° to as high as 200° and it will initiate a Regen. I have used this tool many times to clear active codes and power derates and will swear by it to get you home. I've even had it clear a STOP engine and shutdown. But if you've multiple repeat codes and STOP engine 5mph derates, say a failed One-Box, it cannot clear that. Legally that is a fatal Emissions system failure in accordance with the EPA regulations and I nothing can clear that but the repair.
