I wish I could post a link to a pic. Not enough posts. the super b , hooks up to the truck by the fifth wheel, and the first trailer behind truck is 28' and second trailer is 31' . Two trailers, five axles, twenty tires.
-
Too many tires for me. Have to take out a loan for tire replacement.

thats the point i was trying to make about the live bottom its a waste of space. We have a 38 foot Jet Co trailer and u can load it full and ull be awithin 500 pounds of legal every trip as long as its not wet -
Max GVW for truck and super b's are 63500 KG, or 139993 LBS. -
In CO you can go 85000 on secondary roads.
In WY you can go 85000 any where as long as you can bridge it, and have your base plate registered for 85000 in WY. -

A live bottom is very heavy, seen many of these out of the ethanol plant. If just hauling grain, hopper would be better. However you can haul more products with live bottom...The weight of it is what really hurts
-
And the smell, speaking of ethanol plants.
