I'm actually a bit embarrassed y'all, but I've fought the bills from my divorce for years, but with my lease payment going up, and freight rates down, I'm forced to close down my company after 7 years.

That being said, I'm trying to find the best open deck company to work for. I have plenty of stepdeck and rgn experience, and being able to run all 48 with good pay are important to me. I started out hauling cars but don't wanna go back to that, and I don't wanna do dry van.

I'd welcome any advice guys. Thanks and continued luck to you all in this economy.

@Chinatown will be along soon to see whats what for you.

Keep in mind everyone this year is hurting in some form and many have been forced out of business. So don't take it so hard that you are in difficulty. You Marines will find a way through.

You didn’t mentioned your location. And even though I have heard that rates have been down the last couple of years along with freight, neither has effected me here in SoCal. But I “never” leased. When you are leased, it’s like working for a company and you can’t search for other freight. Goodluck on your search and “Thank you” for your services.

I'm actually leased on to Admiral Merchants, and they are one of the few owner operator companies that let you run off their board, or DAT, Truckstop, whatever. I hate like hell to leave them, because they are a super awesome place to be, but my financial situation is beyond overcoming at this point

Look into SPD. Perhaps @catalinaflyer can point you in the right direction.

Good idea. SPD is also part of the "Daseke" group.

Semper fi brother hang in there. Btdt.

Jordan, TMC and Melton have consistently been the happiest drivers ive talked to on the road. Looked like kept up equipment and plenty of gear to do the job right with all 3. None of those 3 have complained about their gig, which is what i listen for most.
