Something that is overlooked or omitted by those that say the sky is always falling is the workforce.
Everyone that is employable is employed.
Look at some of the people that have finally gotten off their ##### and gotten a job. They're horrible.
The bottom of the barrel is what's left.
Ok you're hired. First day the guy gets hurt somehow. Claim, lawyers, blah.
That's what's left.
That's a social attitude problem, not an economic one.
I don't care how much some people make, they'll find a way to get further in the hole.
Then they need assistance. And a fifth chance.Intothesunset, x1Heavy, Linte_Loco and 3 others Thank this. -

This reminds me of the story I read about the country using less oil.... they insinuated further that it was people getting out of their cars.
Or the story that millions are participating in gun buy back programs. So it must mean people actually want to give up their guns.
This is why I’m skeptical about anything in the news these days. Both ends have an agenda. People are always trying to steer you into behaviors. We want people to stop buying... oh! Those gas prices are up! There are less trucks on the road... things are slowing down. See, people are living on less. Told you so... get with the program!!
My take is... stop listening to everyone else (and the idiots who write this stuff), do what YOU want to do. Something goes south, adapt.... everyone experiences hard times, it’s life. Walking around worrying what others think or are doing will never get you very far. -
