still in driving school but they have companies that hire right out of the school. Of course they push them on you. Point I’m making is that all these companies will give you contingent job offers right now, even being only halfway through the course.
Anyways, I don’t want to go with any of those companies. I know most companies require you to take a refresher course after 30 days of getting your license. I’m trying to avoid that but it could take longer than 30 days to find a driving job...
Just looking for some insight. Thanks.
When to apply...

Couldn't hurt to start making calls now and tell them when you will be finishing school. The worst they can do is tell you to call back when you are done.

Raise your right hand. Repeat after me "I am now pre-hired at NASA, NFL, NBA, Google, Facebook, Hollywood, etc for any job you qualify for and if the employer wants you, and you pass the background check & are qualified."
Pre-hires are like paper towels. They are everywhere and given away freely. They don't mean what the companies want you to think. With a pre-hire you still must do everything someone without a pre-hire must do.FlaSwampRat and TugHillRider Thank this. -

You should have a job by the time you finish cdl school. Can't think of any reason not to.

Most companies that hire school grads and or require refresher courses after a period of time, is going to require training for a while anyway.
