Aluminum ground cables?

I got $100 that you won't find an electrion or a welder that says aluminum is better than copper

And where did you get your engineering degree?

I lived next to one who said it was absolutely fine to have an aluminum main line. It just needs to be bigger. Have you never suffered from green wires?

 

a 0 gauge aluminum wire conducts more power (@61%) than a 2 gauge copper wire. With less weight and less cost. Just saying

 

How does it take heat?

 

I think it's about money. Daimler will use all kind of #### on truck just to make it few cents cheaper..
