Please to all be careful out there and ever vigilante
Last couple days the national news has been all over a couple bad wrecks involving semi's.

One was just down the street near Miami OK on I44, at least 8 dead.
Traffic was stopped or slowed and big rig didn't

5 dead in IN, involving a Flatbed and Con-way freight driver

    Just be careful
Keep your eyes on the road, scan ahead.
Reading these articles and watching the news, it appears that part of the issue was cresting a hill to find stopped or slowed traffic.
If you can't see whats ahead, around the bend, over the hill, you have to believe that there might be something there. A car, a truck, a person, a child. Something or someone, be prepared, don't be the next one on the news.
I know to many drivers that have to live the rest of their lives knowing that they were part of injuring or killing someone.

If you see somebody else, step up and say something, its not dime dropping, it just might save somebody you know.

14 people died from two separate crashes in both Indiana (5 fatalities) and in Oklahoma (9 fatalities) on June 26. Look like a very bad tarnish on the trucking industry and on truck drivers. Both accidents was from a result from a rear end collision due to traffic back up.

It is sad that the accident in Indiana that the reporter was talking about the loss or non-loss of the loads that the semi's were carring. Five people lost their lives and he or she wanted to describe the loads and if they were lost?

I lived N of Stroud b/n OKC and TUL and people including truck drivers drive like hell on that road. I've been passed, when I was doing 75 by trucks doing 90. I know they'll do it too as I owned a Pete and it would do 91 MPH, not that I wanted to go that fast. If you don't drive like they do , you are just going to be a victim.

The toll is now 10 dead. A young woman died about 0700 this AM in Joplin. Yep, the driver is 76 yrs according to the news reports. OK Highway Patrol has released no info on the wreck yet including what might have been the cause. There was no construction there was another accident ahead of the bad wreck(according to the TV) NEVER DROP YOUR GUARD! PAY ATTENTION!!

Speed is not the only factor here.

    One vehicle moving, some stopped.

I have seen fatalities as speed as low as 35.

Definitly agree with the #### CELL PHONES however not proven yet to be the cause of this disaster. Maybe the driver was asleep which is why he never slowed down. 76 years old, maybe daydreaming or out there in wonderland. Either way his career and way of life is over.
