There was alot of them guys. Dad had the second set of doubles in Ohio. And owned the only two set of 5x9' city weld doubles. It went overboard when they could double out with 48k on each trailer. Didnt buy many permits cause that cut into profits. Just get busted and pay up once in a while. Largest that I know he ever got busted for was 135k on the deck on 6 axles. There was guys that put 150k on the deck all the time.

Couldn't you mechanical geniuses rig up some sort of pusher axle setup on the trailer with the knob in the truck? Have a third axle on the trailer, crank it up to pull weight off the drives, then drop it back as you roll forwards for the trailer.

Speaking of mechanical geniuses and fabrication specialists, I have no idea where to start, but I have an idea for a truck air-system powered pressure washer and wonder if it's been done already or not? Like, some sort of valve system that takes air from the red line and mixes it with water from a garden hose with a hose and a small wand to spray with?
