Call a dentist and get it pulled, no need to go home, been there done that.

 

That is a safety issue if you aren't getting rest, I would leave and get it taken care of. Drive that thing right back to them and fly home to get your tooth fixed. I am usually the one on here saying never just quit but this is an exception. Text and qc messages saying it is unsafe for you to drive and take pictures of them telling you to anyway. Give them their truck back and go find another job, so few jobs use dac that it's not the end of the world like they want you to think it is. Your health and safety and the safety of everyone else on the road come first.

 

Do what ya gotta do. I'm sure you can get it done anywhere. Personally, I wouldn't work for a company that cant do you the decency of allowing you to have a bone yanked out of your face by someone you trust

 

tell them you got a medical emergency you're going to get it fixed and it's as simple as that..
document on your Qualcomm or your people net don't do the he-said-she-said phone BS..
no company could force you to drive when you're ill or not safe just tell them I'm going to drive right now but if I crashed the truck it's on you I let you know I've got a tooth issue and abscess tooth is giving me a lot of pain I have to get it taken care of now .

GO TO A DOC-IN-THE-BOX IT'LL PROBABLY COST YOU A COUPLE HUNDRED BUCKS FOR A VISIT
LESS YOU GOT INSURANCE THAT COVERS THAT KIND OF STUFF..
THEY'LL GIVE YOU SOME PENICILLIN OR SOME AMOXICILLIN THAT WILL GET RID OF THE INFECTION AND GET THE ABSCESS DOWN..
I JUST TELL YOUR COMPANY IF THEY'RE GOING TO HOLD YOU AGAINST IT'S NOT YOUR TIME OFF YOU BETTER FIND SOMEPLACE ELSE TO WORK THEY DON'T PLAY THAT KIND OF BS GAMES WITH ME

 

Abcessed tooth can make your whole body sick. Please take care of it...and find a new company as soon as you can.

 

Abscesses are a path way of infection towards your brain if it manages to access your sinus cavities like mine did for a while. Extracted that molar, (In 50 pieces) and then delivered through that small hole into the infected space medicines.

They told me should I have not done that when I did the infection would have reached my brain sometime by this time this year and there would be nothing that can be done then. It takes me alot to deal with the teeth.

Put your truck into a dentist office and tell him or her that you are a emergency case and need a oral surgeon in the area to get ahold of you. By law no one other than dentists can touch your teeth. That includes hospitals. The company will bendover backwards to ignore the idea that you need to see someone being sick. But they have no choice if you really got sick and thats that. You are already sick, get yourself taken care of, #### the truck, #### the load and double dose #### to the company who did not show you anything for that problem. (You are disposable, replaceable etc)

But the greater tragedy would be you being stubborn and roll on until one day medically becomes a real crisis point and maybe you are lost of consciousness at 70 mph on the interstate. Whatever is seriously bothering you, pull in and get it looked at. And fixed.

Your company does not give a #### for you anyway. You should already know this from the talk back you have gotten. If you are sick, pull that thing into some office somewhere and get it looked at.

Some truckstops have dentists. I don't know how you'd find them though. I've seen a couple out there. And there's one at home at the sapp bros.

Might even call around to see if you can get a prescription for oxycodone or hydrocodone. Or something. I think oxy is what I got. Been a few years.

One of the perks of having a local job. You have the luxory of seeing a doc when you need to.
