That would be correct, although I don't remember ever messing with the hubs on mine. I had a '48 Willys while in high school. I traded a dirt bike or something for it. Had it a few months then traded it for something else. Engine seals were gone, so it would puke out a quart of oil every time you shut it off. I carried gallon jugs of used oil to fill it back up. I'd only drive it on the gas pipeline at the end of the street we lived on. It had no brakes, so I just kept it in 4wd low range all the time. When it was time to stop, downshift until it was slow enough to roll into a tree or a deep enough rut.
