    Hi,

I am seeking an experienced driver to team with; female or male. I have 1-month experience, driving an automatic tractor with a 53ft trailer; OTR. I am located in the Melbourne, FL area. I have been hired by a company in the Orlando, FL. area for an OTR position. The position pays .70 cent per mile, split between team members. Average miles are 6-8k team total. Drivers average each $2,300 per week. With the aforementioned stated, I will need an experienced driver to hire on with me since I lack driving experience. I need to gain additional experience, so that I can accomplish 90 degree backing effortlessly. I do not have any problems driving safely on the road.

The company will require you to supply them with your full DOT physical report and you will be required to take a urine test. You will also be required to take a road test and Alley Dock in a parking lot.

If you are interested in teaming with me or have any additional questions, please feel free to contact me.

I am also open to any other driver opportunities outside of the current company in which this ad speaks of. Working with an Owner Operator would be great! I am open to all opportunities.

    Talk to ya soon! :)

I contacted Florida Beauty Express. Unfortunately for me, they are only hiring OTR drivers that reside near their Miami location. They did inform me about a local driving job in Dundee Florida; however, it's located too far from where I reside.

Thanks again for assisting me in my search!

I contacted Redbone Tucking. They seem like a good company to work for. However, they only hire inexperienced drivers that reside locally, specifically for Fed EX loads.

I spoke to a recruiter at Abilene Express. I am undecided, but I am leaning toward working for them if I can't locate a team driver.

    Thanks again for your help!

Thanks for the offer! However, after speaking with a recruiter at US Express about 3 weeks ago, I was told that I would need to train with someone for 4 weeks before I could team with someone. The trainer has to meet their requirements and must have been employed with their organization a certain period of time. Let me also add, I had concerns as it relates to the company.

I have a friend that went to their orientation about 3 weeks ago. They were trying to put him into a lease; However, he did not want a lease. Lease or not, there were guys that had been waiting to get a truck for two weeks or more. He decided not to sign on with them. Before he flew to their location, he had an understanding that he was being hired as a company driver. However, that changed upon the presentation given at orientation.

I you have any other possibilities available, I am definitely willing to consider them. I appreciate you reaching out to me. Thanks!
