never doing this yuma crap again

been here since early friday evening without a load. you guys should see the line outside of johnson controls right now. like myself currently, there are a crapload of bobtails and the geniuses in phoenix are sending even more down here all while knowing what the current situation is. more are arriving every 15 minutes. eventually there won't be any place to park along the street. i've been #1 on the list since friday. not a #### thing is shipping out.

yeah, i hung out at the loves for a bit, then the mall, and back along the street. the loves parking lot reeked of piss.

did that, too, and they never called. i ended up getting outta there shortly after i made this thread. made my delivery on time in the wonderful city of industry. however, before i got there, i got a call from somebody who wanted me to drop the load in fontana, hook up to another trailer going around the corner from ruan, do a different live unload, and all for a load that was going to be wayyyyyy, waaaaaaay late. last time i did a live unload at that place, i waited 6hrs before i ever got backed into the door due to it being late long before i ever hooked to it. i said, "no, i'm going to deliver this one i'm currently on." argued about it for a few more minutes. after emptying out within 30mins of arriving at ruan, i drove over to rancho cucambnabiogbhiomanga for the next pick-up, and that whole scenario is another tale........

i just spent the last 2hrs trying to get another fuel solution. i'm almost out. lost hills his the closest place that has a pilot. i spent 15mins arguing back and forth about not wanting to drive an hour and a half south to castaic. this load is going NORTH, and it doesn't have all that much time on it. i think i'm gonna run this mofo dry and force them to get somebody out to me, and make them top off the tanks. all i know is that when i was with swift, if some fuel routing was off, or a truck stop sucked due to long waits, all i had to do was send a message to my driver manager, or call somebody, ask to refuel at the current location, or elsewhere, provide them with the t/s' comdata code, and be done with it. i never had to argue with anybody.

i guess common sense is out the window at this company, and the load planners are complete morons. they sent me this current load. its pick-up time was 1600. the load i delivered to ruan was set for delivery at 1800. yes, i have come to the understanding that crap like this happens almost all the time at this company. it's already starting to drive me crazy. can't they just let the drivers do their #### job and send out preplans that aren't already late? i'm also sick of how security at terminals treat drivers. they treat us like we're all 5 and cannot be trusted with anything. i'm certain they've been told to treat us as such. not even the security guards for swift treated drivers like this.

i need to get going and i look forward to running out of fuel along highway 99.......
