Day 1
It was what I expected. Introductions, administrative tasks, campus tour, UAs, started DQ files.
The one thing I really like was instead of introducing yourself, instructor had us "interview" our neighbor and you presented.
The thing I didn't like is class size, 26 students, class room is FULL. I think it will get better once we get going...also I think we are going to get a few dropouts.
It's a very diverse group.
Jonathan Rymer is an excellent instructor thus far. I like he's not going to put up with any BS, he tells the bears where to #### in the buckwheat.

 

I was offered a job at Transystems starting as a loader operator in Renville, MN. It sounded like I was a little late in the summer to get trained by Beet Harvest. I still might go check them out/ask questions after I get Class A. As always thanks for your help China

 

I can go drive a Quad dump for $22 an hour which I think/know I would like more than delivering lumber. I was actually making $22 at my last summer (Quad)job. One thing I've have found up here (MN.Local) is the big bucks($35/hr+) is Class A (even to drive tris/quads/quints)working for the Medium/Large asphalt contractors and Prevailing wage work and/or Local 120 however there is not that many close to were I live....Thats one reason I kick myself in the ### for leaving my 1st job driving Quad...we didnt get alot of prevailing (Davis-Bacon) but we dis get some, I didnt know any better

Day 2
Spent the Entire day on HOS, it wasn't on the schedule but that's what did after we took I short quiz...I got %100
We are now down to 23, we had 3 drop
After class I went to DMV and took Combinations, Air brakes, and General knowledge...I passed all 3.
Tomorrow I'm going to go take Passenger and School bus, maybe Doubles/Triples
