1: do they have cameras? actually dont care much since everyone has them these days but i'm curious
2: do they have manuals or automatics?
3:do they have APUs
4:they claim to have good pay, do they? if you're still with them it cant be so bad, not expecting to get rich, i got 7 years of driving under my belt, 3 flatbed, 4 tanker. i'm in the oil field hauling crude, but i'm so sick of day cab shift work. pay is great, better than OTR can give, but every day is the same and i'm sick of breathing H2s and dust.
5: where do they run? i'm looking at COTC just because I like the western states, but thats not a priority, just a preference but like most drivers i'm trying to avoid the north east, but again, i'm not a wuss, just dont want to deal with NYC ever again
I know cotc has become a mega career that is becoming Nazi like with their cameras and their safty department. i'm looking for a older company that will leave me alone so long as I don't wreck, damage the truck and I always get my freight where its supposed to be.
I'm a great driver and am trying to find a new home, and want to get it right the first time.
thanks for any info you give.
