It seems the only thing holding me back from getting back into highway driving is that Coq! I'm not interested in attempting that highway during the winter.
Who else has issues with this, or am I just paranoid? Thanks

Far worse roads in bc .. The reason the coq is notorious is the volume of traffic means more screw ups MACK E-6, Guitarhack and not4hire Thank this.

Ok, I gooooogled it, I have been on the part from Kamloops to Merrit, nothing at all bad on that little stretch.

Doesn't go north of Kamloops; the worst section is south, between Coquihalla Summit and Hope. Most carnage occurs between Zopkios and Box Canyon, specifically around the Great Bear Snowshed.
