Trucker antenna for a base

    I’m using 1 1/4 inch pipe right now with that 22 foot IMAX. I wouldn’t hesitate to go up another 20 feet since the mounting pipe for the bracket is concreted into the ground. Your mast would fit just fine. You’d just have to drill the hole out a little further for the Ubolt.

    That antenna can’t go anywhere I promise. It can’t move backwards, left or right. i could easily make a brace for it to reinforce if necessary, but it has survived some pretty rough storms just fine.

    I ordered it, and the 2 clamps. I’m gonna try and Afro engineer my own base plate out of galvanized angle iron and make a concrete base for the whole deal. And run my coax through pvc underground. I like the idea of this swivel base mount.

    I have something similar for my tower. Except it still takes 8 men to raise it. I figure with this it will help me tune it, and take it down when storms roll in
