I don't have sleep apnea, but my skinny brother does. ROFL Ahhh I love life at times.

Do you think that maybe the insurance companys might be behind all this?

I am overweight (6", 360)and I also have sleep apnea but I have had a CPAP machine for years, as a current CDL student does anyone think it is going to be an issue once I graduate. I have passed my physical but will that be good enough? I have worked too hard to get this far only to be stopped by this! Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Not if you have the med card. Doctor says youre clear for duty, that will be good enough. Had a guy go thru orientation with me that was 5'8 485 lbs. He passed the physical and got the job.

A word of caution tho. Dont have the mindset to just 'get by'. Get better. The first way you do that is with yourself. Start walking. The better you feel, the better you sleep, the better you drive.

Wish you success in trucking. Happy motoring.
