Your call. Yet you can take pics knowing he may very well see you.

OH he saw me getting into my truck as he pulled in. My Trooper is lifted, but not jacked. Sit 7'2" at the top of the load bars on the roof and probably 5' or so at the top of the spare. I just think he thought he was closer than he was when he looked over his hood. Like I said, he probably had about 10 feet, but looking down and over, it could be deceiving I guess. I remember going from the NPR to a Freightliner and that was a little bit of a learning curve. It's called Mile Square Park in Fountain Valley, CA, just off the 405 and and a number of local drivers do their 30 there if there's room as well as some who do 10's during the early day or night (no parking form 10pm - 6am according to the law). But I didn't feel comfortable just getting out and asking if there was a problem. Most of the drivers who stop on that street are either Vietnamese or Latino. And this guy definitely wasn't in that category, add to that "White Volvo".... I'll pass unless he asks for help.

Just because they look different don't mean they are not American.
And how do you drive a trooper as expedited? Those stoped being produced 14 years ago?

My 1992 Isuzu Trooper is my POV. I As the original post says, I was going for a walk in the park. I've only been driving an International and Hino 26 box truck part/almost full time up the I5/99 corridor until I go back to school this week while I'm saving for a CDL school,or until the spring semester when the state will transfer the remaining balance of my job training funds to a CDL school.

And if your MC/CA DOT numbers are on the side of your truck with stickers from Ace Hardware from the mailbox department, 99% chance, you're not American.

You haven't been to the deep South bro. There are plenty of scraggly, half*ss operations here with trucks that make those Chicago white Volvos look beautiful. Lots of trucks down in GA, AL, MS have the mailbox numbers and all the other telltales, half a plastic front bumper, busted fiberglass, different colored body panels, havent' been washed in 10 years, you name it.

    You forgot one biggie.

A pernament lean to one steer axle or the other. It does not matter or alter to level when big boy in da south comes out of there or in there. This also applies to some tour buses too.

    COBB2070 Thanks this.
