Jb hunt/Schneider had flat floor cab overs with Detroits too.stayinback, 1951 ford, Feedman and 9 others Thank this. -
I was reading the thread where the “driver,” who just so happens to hate Wore Out started the thread about the BS in the trucking industry, and the little sidewalk sissy vs racist thread, and I thought about Jessi Combs getting killed doing what she wanted to do.
On one hand, you have an adult male that called the cops on a driver who was supposed to relay a load with him because he was too afraid to look out his windows. On the other side of the spectrum, you have the fastest woman, dying while doing what she loves.
At least she LIVED.stayinback, beastr123, 1951 ford and 21 others Thank this. -
Colfax yep. It was it sold a few years ago possibly to another company in Colfax maybe a company called ABI trucking I’m not sure. have you seen it around?

In some respects the older I get, the more cautious I'm becoming. But cautious in the respect that I'm not going to just fly off a cliff face on my mountain bike when I know its beyond my current skill level. When I was 15, darn rights I'd do it just for glory and stories. Now I look at it as "ok, that's beyond today's skill level, time to get better and hit that drop in a week/month/etc."
I think people get caught up in instant gratification. They see someone like Jessie and they see a world speed record. What they don't see are the dozens, if not hundreds, of high speed runs she did to achieve that title. She didn't just decide one day to hop in a jet car and break a record. There was a lot of skill building and work/time she did in order to earn it. -
Yes that’s right the middle truck of the three pictures I posted has a N14 there is a little bump in the floor to accommodate the taller block. The bottom truck or the three pictures I believe had a DD601951 ford, Feedman, Art Vandelay and 11 others Thank this.
