Explosive Device Found On Cleveland County Road

Today on 74 in NC there was a small explosive found on the road, you can can go to wcnc news website and read about it.
Or to the Shelby Star newspaper online and find it.

No one was hurt but traffic was backed up for a long time, and the police have no idea who put the explosive in the road, they said if it had of went off the way intended a lot of people could of been hurt.

I thought that if you all who might be driving had not heard about this yet you might like to know, also I wanted to let you know to be extra careful, as this is the first time I have heard about something like this in the states, and imho if there is one like this there could possibly be others.

Anyway, I hope this was okay to post here, I didn't post a link to the news paper but you can google it and probably find it without too much effort, it was today around lunch time.

The police have so far not said if they know anything about how this got into the road.

There has been another one found near the old wal-mart on 74 in Shelby NC it is on the news the Shelby Star breaking news now, so if your traveling in or around this area it may be a good idea to be careful, so far the police have not said if they know who is doing this.

I just found out about it because I decided to check the local news headlines, I don't know if anything like this has been found anywhere else but if it is being found here in a smaller town, it's my personal opinion that people just need to watch extra close because some people are being stupid this week, maybe it's because it's coming up on the fourth of July, but whatever it is somebody's trying to cause people to get hurt.

Okay, but the news on wcnc is now saying these were pipe bombs, so I still say to be careful, because even if it was not something serious with the media making out like it is serious, some copy cat type person may hear about this and decide to do the same things except with serious consquences.

I don't think anyone should panic just be aware that some body is acting not so smart this week.
