Occasionally my wife has a string between the old cushions that i know well enough to leave alone.

 

Ya know, they say that the only stupid question is the one you don’t ask............but really, this one broke that mold! Reading some of these posts on this forum you really wonder about some people’s problem solving skills ( or what I consider laziness). SMFH.

 

Once in trucking school instructor belabored the grease on a 5th wheel.

Any questions? Me: how much is good? Instructor took hand and put it into the 5th wheel. That answered that.

Really? Yet another "you've GOT TO BE KIDDING",,, More fun to come, apparently. You know, I wonder, did the old timers I asked seemingly stupid questions, answer them, but got together with their buddies, saying, the industry sure is going to hell.

 

Probably. No one ever thinks the next generation will be our savior except in paid commencement speeches on campus. Which may be a lot of fluff. Those kids are engineering trucks that either wont run for long [emissions] or wont need us in em, and still probably wont run for long.
