Honestly that's putting it consecutively. Truck with sleeper, trailer, cargo...big money right there.

I did get out of OTR over 20 years ago. I'm still trucking but I don't live in/for the truck. Gone from your company? I wouldn't work there in the first place.

Not many people would, I'll be first to admit I'm an a hole most of the time, I have very little patience for people in general and stupidly lazy people in particular.

Yes, if they made me and wife sit on them for 10 hours there will be hell raising on our end. To clarify we were a team with FFE with two goals, first grabbing late loads off singles. They get the empty and all day to rest. We're gone. And the other when not rescuing waifs who are late, we run the hell out of it coast to coast. Most people cannot barely make a doctor in 10 minutes to appt time (Unless its a pain clinic for narcotic refills... snark) we are doing it coast to coast in 10 minute windows. (With a 63 mph truck geesh... open us up golly...)

For our pain, the other driver knew #### well we are coming. So they meekly sit and wait. One interchange was strange. One solo was told to go to snow shoe above Milesburg on I-80 in PA in what turned out to be a foot of snow we came out of P'burgh up 220 to get to him at sunrise to swap. Hell of a place to do a swap. Makes me wonder what he did...

Snow shoe was my spouse's graduation trip. I told her she goes up that 220, hit 80 go east until showshoe. If you are in the right truckstop in the morning you are doing very well. Not much left to teach you. Warned her about Milesburg Hill. She was there.

    Real professional.

    To the posters, not OP.

Some come back multiple times to continue the dog pile. Glad I dont have to deal with that mentality.
