When harvest comes, does it come with long lines at shippers and receivers? If harvest is crackin' but you spend half your day sitting still, it seems like you have defeated the purpose of trying to haul a hopper during harvest time.

it would seem that you are trying to talk yourself out of hoppers mr m. You know there is a lot of money out there if you can find the right driver and just look . Truckers are a bunch of cry babys, I don't have a/c I have to wait to get unloaded, My truck has a flat , Oh who is going to hold my hand while this is getting done. MM and PP are the real deal they are living and dealing with the bs that trucking is all about and still manage to keep there head up.

The repair shop should help you on any warranty work.

It seemed high to me also, must be because of the weight. Cornhusker have been that high usually not a Timpte.

I would say you got a good deal on your trailer. 34k is a good price.

That's just part of harvest. They usually pay you enough to sit for a while. Better than regular rates anyway.

    Pharm or anybody

How do you multi quote so the quote is shaded and doesn't have quotes around it?

Next to the quote tab is a "+ tab. Click each quote you want included then the last one click the actual quote button.

If you place your pointer over it the shadow statement will say "multi-quote this message"

    wheathauler Thanks this.

The truck is not sitting around, waiting for me to make up my inquisitive mind. The truck rolls as I bounce ideas off the driver to see how he feels about them. I only come to him with the good ideas. I save the stupid ones for when I call Pharm. :biggrin_25525: lol

I guess some grain business are taking long holidays this week. Cargill didn't want to talk about loads until Monday. Guess they need to figure out where to take some of the grain.

I know a lot of them are closing Friday evidently some are taking off Thursday too. I guess I get off too but don't make any money. Have to get used to their closing hours again... They were staying open until 10 pm.
