I might as well discard scary words.

Storm is 911 millibars and falling, 185 sustained, gusts over 200. There was talk of possibly hitting 200 today. Which I think only happened once before on the Baja.

In the morning I will put up wind charts for Fort Peirce if the #### thing does not turn tonight. I keep cursing it to turn. Teufel needs to get back to where it came from.

For North Carolina. Wilmington Friday 115 mph. Virginia Norfolk 100 Sat.

Category 5 an nailing the Bahamas. If you got money hidden there, hope you got it out!

As usual the weather wonders keep calling the storm like their doing sport commentary on a Pin Ball game. "An she is going up the middle, but no! She hit a bumper an is now going off to the ne! Wait wait...hidden flipper hit her, for some reason she's now spinning in circles and heading back SE."

We are hearing SC as the target. I'm sure that will change 50 times between now and tomorrow.

Back to you at the desk!

Sirscrapntruckalot - An the wind cries...."Evacuate!". If FEMA did a cover of "The wind cries Mary".

Well, I shuttered my home and unplugged all the appliances. Loaded up the truck with the family and headed back to Columbia, SC to reunite with my trailer..

I may be crazy for evacuating early but I just have no confidence in weather forecasters anymore...

This old man holding his kitchen sink in a video. House is rocking around him. #### thing is cement outside and fat wood inside all over. Way over built.

Rocking gently in 18 freaking 5 mph storm.

The ones that come up the valley in EF4 lay waste to all our homes and explode then strip the bark and branches off our trees... all they seem to get is a dab of water and a icepick screech of that wind.

WTF are we doing AMeria. cheap assed wood homes... /rant. Jealousy actually....

It's 71 miles from Florida. I am looking at early wind maps for Fla and see hurricane condition winds tomrrow sometime above west palm beach., 130 for jaxville, 120 for savannah, 110 for NC/SC and 100 for norfolk. The problem with 4 days to friday is error of 200 miles at norfolk and 70 at savannah (It matters not....)

The storm is about 30+ miles from eye for 75+, its forming a double eyewall then strengthen as it replaces to tomorrow.

Crawling at 5. I tell you what. If this thing takes off at 15, it's in florida by about moonrise tonight. It has to turn by tomorrow. If not? Nice knowing you.

If you are out of there gratz. Enjoy the trip.

I suspect some form of evolution needs to take place re fueling.

If you can put a POS ternimal into a gasoline tanker and someone to run it and add up the dallop in 4 cars at once and make 4 sales pronto in a few minutes every few miles where safe to do so...

No real updates on Dorian. We are just waiting for the turn.

I'll put up wind charts for Fort Peirce in the AM as a starting point.

Once it turns then alot of unknowns will be known in a hell of a hurry.

    Craziness.

I hate to see anyone's home destroyed. Bahamas got/is getting rocked. The storm surge is crazy.

Someone should tell Dorian it's the perfect time of the year to visit Greenland, and a horrible time to visit the U.S.

So who taught this hurricane how to drive? Swift? I bet it was hired for a team lease deal... Fess up whoever it was. Clearly they should've left Dorian out with it's trainer longer.

Sirscrapntruckalot - Find humor where you can.
