Find out where RW got his. 35k is pretty good, Wilson not a bad trailer especially new... Used I might worry about it.

Yeah this week isn't working out so hot. I'm sitting. My broker is on vacation, I got 3 of those local loads but just went to pick one up and they had a loading (electrical) problem and weren't sure when it would be fixed. Had to come back home. They may or may not call tomorrow, but it probably won't matter because Cargill closes at noon and it's 3 hours away. Closed Friday. Grossing $420 this week. That's about -$1k in business land.

But this really is highly unusual and I'll just hit it extra hard next week.

Well in that ballpark my trailer is excellent, a 2009, and 35k as well. Very good build quality on the Peerless, and really a good size too for all the meal I haul. I wouldn't be able to get 25 tons in one of those 66" or similar sided trailers. It comes down to the financing. They haven't even called or e-mailed since they said this early last week.

You might get more next week if they figure out that one load you got docked on. That would be bad to have to eat part of that load. Cargill should get act together next week (ha ha!) Sorry we're talking about Cargill here.

Got it through Wilson of Missouri. If you're serious about it, I can give you their number as soon as I hit 50 posts in a day or two, or you can probably find it on the internet.

Yes, I've called on a few. Problem is they want to take your number and get back with you. And we all know what that means.

Thanks a lot. I'll know how serious I am when I get a straight answer on the one I'm pulling now. Right now I'm just checking my mirrors for an escape strategy in the event of a crisis. :biggrin_25517:

I might know of a good used one, the one I pulled last year. He just got it and the truck and didn't like it because it was too long. He likes the short tall trailers. It probably needs a couple tires but everything else on it was good. I dunno if he'll turn loose of it though. I told him I'd keep it as it was a good trailer.

    PharmPhail Thanks this.

From other threads, I believe your trailer leasing place is going out of business...They haven't told you whether they want their trailer back. If they do you, you will have to find another one. Being you bought a truck recently you may not have the credit to buy a trailer. Is this the situation you are in?

If so renting from Esclipse might be the only viable option, unless you can find a cheap used trailer. Of course you may know of more options.

Well this is real. I need a trailer. Just got a message to bring it back.

If I can't find anything by Monday I'll have to start heading to Beatrice NE for a trailer.
