As usual, I will cause disquiet and un- easiness
I wear shorts pretty much year round, except when I am working at a jobsite or plant. I wear flip flops when I am not driving ....
I do wear long pants when it too f n cold to wear shorts unlike some canada folk I know.
My white skinny legs and feet can be seen from great distances.
Living in Arizona - there are maybe 5 places that you can’t wear nice shorts and a collared shirt. I do not frequent those places, but you can eat at the very nicest steakhouses in town with not one sideways look.
Where is everyone #5

I know we’ve all talked about this before (and will again) I’m not saying you’re not a man if you wear shorts and flip flops (anyone else call them thongs as a kid) or anything like that just that I HATE the sight of men’s feet.
The overwhelming majority of restaurants around here you can wear shorts and flip flops, there’s probably a few that you can’t but those same ones you can’t wear jeans so I ain’t goin.
I don’t dress up often, I do wear a suit to a funeral and I’ll dress nice for your first wedding other than that it’s work pants, jeans, a t shirt and occasionally a collared shirt.7-UP, Al. Roper, OLDSKOOLERnWV and 19 others Thank this. -
Uncle Lester never saw my unknobby Knees then, while I was Golfing in Shorts
PoleCrusher, Al. Roper, OLDSKOOLERnWV and 12 others Thank this. -
Didn’t take it that way at all.
I just do things differently
For more than 10 years I wore a suit and tie everyday to my office, I hated it every minute of it.
I don’t own a tie or or a suit or a sport coat. Just my preference, but when I go to work I wear the correct and appropriate gear to meet both my personal safety and the requirements of the customer.7-UP, PoleCrusher, Al. Roper and 23 others Thank this. -
I don’t know how different you really are, around here I seem to be the odd man out.7-UP, PoleCrusher, dwells40 and 17 others Thank this.

I was kinda wondering if something like this was a reason why the guy went berserk in Midland the other day.
He had just been fired from his Trucking job earlier that day.
No idea on any other details or whether he drove or dispatched or wrenched.PoleCrusher, Al. Roper, OLDSKOOLERnWV and 11 others Thank this. -

First Pete I ever owned I hit triple digits with, that would have been around 1995 or so..

I wore nice britches and a white button down long sleeve with my boots polished to my middle bothers first wedding. Jean's and a short sleeve to his 2nd. His 3rd I didn't even attend. I figure I done seen it often enough lol. Not to mention his current tried to dress me like a gay cowboy in a card board hat. Wasn't having it7-UP, PoleCrusher, dwells40 and 26 others Thank this.
